I can describe the latest version of Natalie Merchant Rock feeling that with one word ... Outstanding!
I wish it were not the case, but not every day that I have a CD from an artist who can barely make back and listen from beginning to end. Usually there are one or two songs they can not force myself to go. It is definitely not the case with Ophelia. Each track is nice and was very easy for me to listen to from beginning to end.
Natalie Merchant is one of the musicians that has the ability to just win you over with her talent. The type of artist who is really a pleasure to hear.
Overall Ofelia is a pending version. What I call must have music. I give two thumbs up and is definitely a good addition to any Rock collection. Truly an outstanding Rock CD. One of which is completely void of any wasted time, as each item is simply excellent.
Although this album is really very good some of my favorites are track 2 - Life is sweet, track 6 - Break Your Heart, and track 11 - When the bells ring Gold
My cousin Pick, and which Sore [... as in "Stuck On Repeat "] is track 1 - Ophelia. Good stuff!
