Why do incredibly wealthy people love Modern and Contemporary art so much?
Ok, I realize its kind of an open question and answer, but it seems like very wealthy people ($10 million+) and their love of contemporary art is almost a fact like saying its cold in Alaska (sure a day or two a year it might be warm in Alaska but the other 364 days a year its cold). And its not just any art but its always Contemporary or Modern art. Yeah there are some very wealthy people who are the exception to this and like classical figurines or like history over art but I'm talking on the whole and on the whole it seems almost unanimous. Is there some explaination for this or is this just the biggest coincidence in the history of man-kind?
It's not necessarily only the wealthy that likes it. They can afford to buy them so perhaps it appears as if it's only the rich that appreciates art.
