What tools are best to work with oil paint on the flowers in a vase on canvas?
I would try to paint a bouqet flowers, but on what brushes or other tools, I'm not sure what works best.
If you are aiming to make your painting realistic, really you should try using a brush. I prefer the sizes 2, 4, and 8. The brush size two really helps with the little details. The liners are the best way the type of brush, especially if the ink. Also, if the color is applied to dry the paint, the brush really helps to mix color. The other option is to use a spatula. This really gives the painting texture. I'll take you though, using a rubber spatula, lean more, and are easier to use metal lines. The other is a sponge flowers. It is more labor intensive, and is the hardest type of painting to do. I would like to see your painting when it's all done!
