I have a "signed by the artist collage of photos, but can not decipher the name. Who do I turn to read it?

I bought a auction. It is inscribed and signed by the artist. I can tell Kathy or Katherine, and I thought the name of Dixon, or can be Dison. There's definitely a D and i at the firm. The collage of photos is of the river in the basin and overlapped digital images of the skaters. The artist signed collage and inscription with the phrase "With Apologies the River Conservancy and Friends of the Los Angeles River, an alternative view of the river as Skate Park. "I bought it at auction in 2002 at the Draft angel fundraising Barker Hanger in Santa Monica. It is framed and dated for West Hollywood Framing Company. I brought the piece to see their records in it, unfortunately, the record indicates only the chassis number and date, and is no information of an artist. I'm trying to figure out the artist name a couple of reasons, being a curiosity, the other to assess its current value from the time the artist sale.Does sound familiar?

It is the Angel Food project still here? That's what I would contact. Charities and non-profit must keep good records of donations, including those auctions charity. There is also a good chance that the photographer knew someone involved in this project, and that's why she donated a piece for auction. So I think that is the best place to start.
