How does the poster art?

Original art is purchased by the artist (and therefore owned by the advertising company), or if the artist receives rolayties? Or is that the artist receives a lump sum for the rights to print his original work? And if you could, please mention how much an artist makes good sign / Receive at sign (as would be the one time payment, royalties, or something else I do not know).

Hello! As in any graphic design / illustration service, or any other business for that matter, depend on the terms of the contract. Each transaction must have a written contract. During the years of my career, I seen many situations that really became ugly when there was no written contract, and sometimes ended in legal disputes. Everything that could have been avoided simply by having a contract. A contract that protects both the artist and client. Each party agrees to the terms of the contract. By law, the graphic designer reserves the right to work. Owning the rights to his work gives him the right to receive payment for the additional use of a design and protect it from unwanted changes.
