Maintaining interest in a painting is important. One of the best ways to do this in a landscape painting is to create distance. The first thing to remember is the farther away something is the minor detail that will. It will also be lighter than something closer.
Step 1: Mix the colors. the first color you not mix or light gray. Start with the pure white with a small amount of black. be sure to use a small amount of black as it tends to dominate the easy target. Now you have to make a decision. You can use this gray by itself or add some color to the same. Remember Gray is not just black and white, but also gray. For a spring scene trying to add some blue with a tinge of green. Keep on the blue side. To add more scenes of summer green. For scenes fall of a gray or light brown would be nice. Winter scenes can use a multitude of different colors. Blue, gray, violet, to name a few.
Step 2: Apply these colors to create either standing or distant trees and shrubs. Remember not to add award of detail. In fact, the largest party in interest, the better. Now as they approach the paint color can add more.
Step 3: Other trick to create distance and to separate different plains is taken either pure white or pure gray mixture on the brush and tap this at the base of trees or hills it has created. This creates the dew or fog. You can turn this gray on the basis also for creating the illusion of a low cloud, and the base of a mountain.
Remember that the distance in a painting can help maintain interest and allows people to imagine.
