HP Officejet 5610v All-in-One photo printing?
I have a HP Officejet 5610v All-in-One printer. I've been trying to print-out color photo's using HP premium photo paper (soft gloss) 4x6" but the result is a photo with reddish hues where the shadows are in the picture. I've tried troubleshooting the issue to no avail (maximum dpi, adjusting color temperature, tint, and saturation)--nothing seems to correct the issue. Has anyone else had this issue and been able to correct it??? Thank you!
Make sure you are printing in 6 colors for any time you are printing on photo paper. Your printer is compatible with HP's 58 photo cartridge. You take out the black and put the 58 in. You leave the 22 cartridge in.
Next time you are at Office Max, see if they will let you dip the cartridge into a special solution. They will have it at their refilling station.
Speaking of refills, you should not refill ink cartridges you use for printing photos. If you did refill, that probably explains why you are experiencing problems. Best Buy has a deal where you buy 2 cartridges and you get $9.99 off any kind of paper from reems to photo paper. Any paper under $9.99 is free. You just have to be a reward zone member to get that. Office Max has a problem where you make a $3 minimum purchase and get $3 off for every cartridge you turn in to them up to 5 per day. Bring in 5, you get $15 off of a $15 minimum purchase. That's a better way for saving on ink than refills.
